Whatever your requirements, the meeting rooms at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville’s Markee Pioneer Student Center provide the latest in amenities to make your meeting productive and enjoyable.
Some standard meeting equipment is provided in each room. In addition, the following can be provided, as available:
- Presentation remote
- Conference phone
- Speaker phone
- E-clip sign stands
- Easels
- Flip chart with markers
- Dry erase board with markers
- Rolling whiteboard with markers
- Coat racks
In all rooms, WiFi is available for UW-Platteville community members and guests. University Catering Services can provide food and beverages, by prior arrangement.

Computer Conference Room
The Computer Conference Room is a 540 sq. ft. boardroom-style meeting room perfect for small group meetings and presentations. It is located on the second floor of the Markee Pioneer Student Center inside the Bears Den, in the southeast corner of the facility. The Computer Conference Room table is equipped with surface-mounted power outlets and data jacks.
Standard setup for the room is 16 chairs at a conference table, with 12 additional side chairs.

Mining Room
The Mining Room is a 450 sq. ft. boardroom-style meeting room perfect for small group meetings and presentations. It is located on the second floor of the Markee Pioneer Student Center on the north corridor of the conference room area of the facility.
Standard setup is 18 chairs at a conference table, with two additional side chairs. The furniture in this room is movable and the Markee Pioneer Student Center allows for rearranging of this furniture so that our patrons have more flexibility in this meeting space.

Mississippi Room
The Mississippi Room is a 460 sq. ft. open square-style meeting room perfect for small group meetings and presentations. It is located on the second floor of the Markee Pioneer Student Center on the north corridor of the conference room area of the facility.
Standard setup is 20 chairs at a conference table, with five additional side chairs.

Mound Room
The Mound Room is a 450 sq. ft. boardroom-style meeting room perfect for small group meetings and presentations. It is located on the second floor of the Markee Pioneer Student Center on the north corridor of the conference room area of the facility.
Standard setup is 18 chairs at a conference table with two additional side chairs. The furniture in this room is movable and the Markee Pioneer Student Center allows for rearranging of this furniture so that our patrons have more flexibility in this meeting space.

Pioneer Room
The Pioneer Room is a 240 sq. ft. flexible meeting room perfect for small group meetings and presentations for up to twelve (12) participants. It is located on the first floor of the Markee Pioneer Student Center at the west end of the facility next to the Pioneer Haus.
Standard setup is 12 chairs at a hollow square table.

Platteville Room
The Platteville Room is a banquet-style meeting room perfect for medium sized banquets, group meetings, and presentations. The Platteville Room divides into the Platteville East Room and Platteville West Room for smaller banquets, group meetings, and presentations. It is located on the second floor of the Markee Pioneer Student Center on the south corridor of the conference room area of the facility.

- Platteville East Room: 540 sq. ft.
- Platteville West Room: 520 sq. ft.

The University Room is a multipurpose meeting room perfect for a variety of banquets, exhibitions, meetings, and presentations.
The University Room divides into the University North Room, set open square-style for meetings and presentations, and University South Room, set banquet-style for banquets, meetings and presentations. It is located on the second floor of the Markee Pioneer Student Center on the north and east corridors of the conference room area of the facility.

- University North Room: 1000 sq. ft.
- University South Room: 850 sq. ft.
