Launch your startup with the IDEA Hub Accelerator
The IDEA Hub Accelerator helps students, faculty, and community members turn their ideas into startups or side hustles. The needs of every founder are highly unique, and to that end, we offer mentorship, guidance, workshops, connections and more designed to help you thrive. Whether you are kicking around an idea or ready to scale, the IDEA Hub is here for you.
Funded in part by a highly competitive EDA grant received by the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Southwestern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission in 2020, the mission of the IDEA Hub is to stir the entrepreneurial spirit of Southwest Wisconsin through action-oriented learnings and connections to an influential startup community.
The university is a major partner with the IDEA Hub, which means that UW-Platteville student, faculty, and staff have access to take their entrepreneurial ideas to the next level. Support includes assistance with business model development, startup advising, prototype development, and community connections. The IDEA Hub coworking space is conveniently located just blocks from campus in downtown Platteville.
