Symphony Band
The UW-Platteville Symphony Band is one of two concert bands at UW-Platteville which does not require an audition for participation, Symphony Band is made up of talented musicians who provide performances of artistic merit for the benefit of the university and the Southwestern Wisconsin community. The Symphony Band is open to all university students, community members, and high school students. All high school and university students wishing to participate should use the Chair Placement Music button. All community members interested in participating must contact the director.
The Symphony Band rehearses on Tuesday evenings 7–9:30 p.m. during the university calendar year and presents concerts in the fall and spring.
