Facilities Management
The Facilities Management department encompasses many different offices and functions that support the mission of the university. Maintenance and custodial groups manage over 2.3 million square feet of facilities, and the grounds crew care for 400 acres of campus grounds. The car fleet operates a 16 vehicle rental fleet for university business use.
Safety and Risk Management ensures the safety of all employees of the university, mitigates risk for the university, and coordinates all insurance related claims.
Central Stores and Receiving maintains an inventory of office supplies, paper, custodial and maintenance supplies for the campus. Also, all freight for the university is received here and routed to the proper departments for campus distribution.
The Office of Sustainability develops and provides oversight for many sustainable initiatives both on campus and in the community. The office also oversees the shuttle and other alternative transportation programs.
