Counseling Services provides a wide range of mental health services that include individual, couples, and group counseling; crisis intervention; career assessment; alcohol/other drug information; and self-help resources. We also are available to faculty and staff for consultation on a variety of mental health topics.

UW-Platteville is partnering with Whole Campus Care services by Mantra Health to increase the availability of counseling resources and give more options for student mental health care through the university. By visiting the Whole Campus Care Hub, students can get all-in-one access to free mental health and wellness support. Students can self-refer for virtual teletherapy with a licensed master’s level therapist during daytime, evenings, or weekend hours.

Psychoeducational and consultative services provided to the campus community enhance awareness and understanding of emotional wellness to support student academic achievement.
