After School Care Program
The Children's Center at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville may be in your neighborhood school! These programs are run by our childcare professionals and provide a safe and educational environment. As is true on campus, the after-school care programs are a place where children are all "friends", and love and respect is shown to everyone who enters.

In the After-School Care Program, learning continues through hands-on activities and through play (both quiet and more physical), as in our other classrooms. The activities and projects are planned to:

Summer Care
During the summer months, we will run two classrooms for school-age children, 7:30 am-5:30 pm Monday-Friday. These classes will both be held in the same building, but the building we use will depend on the school district. During the summer months, we follow a schedule similar to that at the main center, but with special activities designed to take advantage of the summer weather. Call the Center for details.
