Named after J. C. Brockert and built in 1967, Brockert Hall offers a traditional living experience with plenty of opportunities to participate in residence-wide events and activities. Each spring, for example, Brockert Hall hosts the Circle egg hunt, in which the grassy area between the Circle halls is covered in plastic eggs filled with candy and prizes. Residents are also known to participate in Homecoming activities, and the Karen Cushman Multifunction Room is utilized by the Hall Council and outside organizations for meetings and events.
Brockert Hall provides accommodations for 200 men and 60 women. The traditional tier of Residence Halls offers a traditional living experience for its residents. Amenities included in this tier of buildings include a double-occupancy room, community bathrooms with curtained privacy areas, community kitchen space, laundry facilities, social and academic lounges, and recycling and front desk services. Residence Halls that offer the traditional amenities include Brockert, Hugunin, McGregor, Morrow, Pickard, and Wilgus.
