The Measurement and Instrumentation Lab is used by junior- and senior-level team-based and lab courses in the mechanical and electrical engineering programs. The lab includes a suite of state-of-the-art measurement and control instruments that are available for check-out to students for use in undergraduate research and senior design projects. Students learn various measurement techniques that reinforce fundamental principles taught in previous courses with a focus on developing electro-mechanical measurement and control systems, sensor selection, wiring fundamentals, and signal processing.
