UW-Platteville Scholarships and Tuition Remission
The following scholarships and tuition remission options are available for and targeted specifically toward new and current international students enrolled at UW-Platteville.

Kathryn Mykel Conger Scholarship
Available to new incoming and continuing degree-seeking international students at UW-Platteville, with priority given to international students pursuing a course of study leading to certification as teachers. This scholarship is only awarded once per year per student; applicants may re-apply each year if they wish.
Average scholarship: $1,000-$3,000 per year.
The Conger Scholarship will be awarded on a rolling basis, with the following priority deadline:
Deadline: July 1
Students will be notified within two weeks if they are awarded the Conger Scholarship.

International Club Scholarship
Available to an International Club Member who can demonstrate interest/involvement in IC objectives and activities. To be eligible to receive the scholarship, a student shall: be a full-time student; in good academic standing; be an active member of the International Club; and have demonstrated interest/involvement in the objectives of the International Club. Both non-U.S. citizens and U.S. citizens may apply for the International Student Club scholarship. Number and amount of scholarships vary.
Average Scholarship: $250-$1200.

Tuition Remission
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville values the cultural contribution of international students to our campus and local communities. International students on an F-1 visa who maintain a certain grade point average and participate in cultural service and international programs are eligible to receive up to $2,000 merit-based and campus involvement tuition remission for a maximum of 4 years. Students must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA or higher to be eligible.
Deadline: Last day of spring semester classes.

None of the scholarships or loans detailed below are administered by UW-Platteville or the ISSS Office, but rather by private or outside organizations. ISSS does not endorse any of these programs, nor is more information available from ISSS.
