Handshake connects students and alumni to a national network of more than 200,000 employers across all fields of work and study.
Visit Handshake and click on UW-Platteville Student Log-in. You can sign in using your campus username and password. If you are a new student and the system says you do not have an account, please wait a few days as there is a delay in the student upload. If still not found, then request an account. Once your account is approved, follow the instructions mentioned above.
Search and Apply for Jobs and Internships
Handshake allows students and alumni to search for and apply to co-ops, internships, on-campus jobs, and full-time employment.

Be sure to use the filters when searching for jobs to make it easier for you. To improve your search results and find more positions that are relevant to your career goals and objectives, you also can tailor your profile.
A bonus feature is that you can schedule an appointment with a Career and Professional Development Specialist from our office through Handshake!

Recruit on Handshake
For employers using Handshake, the system allows you to post position openings to connect with approximately 9,000 students and alumni actively seeking jobs, co-ops, and internships. You can register to attend career fairs at UW-Platteville, schedule on-campus interviews or employer informational sessions, and search student resumes to find potential applicants. The user-friendly system is simple to use.
