2025–26 Wisconsin Tuition Promise

The Wisconsin Tuition Promise aims to increase the number of state residents who graduate with an associate or bachelor degree. First-year and transfer students will be automatically considered for the Wisconsin Tuition Promise when they are admitted to the university, have a completed FAFSA on file, and meet all other eligibility requirements.

Must submit FAFSA. If selected by the Department of Education for verification, those steps must also be completed.

Friends of the Campus Scholarships

The Friends of the Campus Foundation funds thousands of dollars in scholarships for UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County students each year. 

BaraBOOST for New First-Year Students 

The BaraBOOST guarantees at least $2,000 for each new full time first-year student. The award will be given as $1,000 in the first semester and $1,000 in the second-semester contingent on being enrolled full-time and having achieved a 2.0 GPA. 

Scholarship Application Process

Step One

Once admitted or enrolled as a continuing student to UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County, submit the General Scholarship Application. The scholarship application opens on January 1.

Due dates:

  • First-year students: April 1
  • Transfer students: April 1
  • Continuing students: March 1

Step Two

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Even if you do not qualify for the federal Pell Grant, you may qualify for other types of aid. The FAFSA will open on October 1.
