Construction Career Day gives ninth–12th grade students exposure to the different career opportunities within the construction industry. Students will experience hands-on activities, and the opportunity to network with construction professionals and UW-Platteville faculty, students, and alumni. Students will also be given the opportunity to experience what a real construction site is like.

Why should I attend?

  • Learn about construction career fields like heavy equipment operation, plumbing, heating, and electrical work, bridge and roadways, and much more!
  • Explore how 2-year, 4-year, apprenticeships, and certificate options in the trades can lead to a great career
  • Enjoy working with college students, touring campus, and meeting construction professionals and Pioneer Pete

Participation in this event will be first come, first served, and is limited to registered professionals and teachers.
