Building With a Purpose
Buildings are built on two foundations, one is concrete and one is purpose. As renovations get underway, Boebel Hall’s concrete foundation will remain, but its purpose is getting an innovative upgrade. The renovated building will embrace a ‘healthy world’ perspective allowing students to meet the challenges of both human and environmental health. State-of-the-art biology, environmental science, and general chemistry facilities will encourage new collaborations and enhance explorations of a healthy world from atoms to ecosystems.
Making a Difference
Developing students who will truly make a difference in human or environmental health will require exceptional teachers and resources. At UW-Platteville, exceptional teaching is the norm. The Boebel Hall renovations will provide a state-of-the-art science building that includes:
- Cadaver Lab Facilities
- Microbiology Lab Facilities
- Molecular/Biotechnology Lab Facilities
- Freshwater Laboratories
- Environmental Science Lab Facilities
- Student Collaboration Spaces
However, these facilities are still in need of funding for equipment and materials required for a superior student experience. This is where you can make a difference.
